Doctor Becket

Doctor Becket has left his impression all over the world and is currently in collaboration with hip hop lovers in Germany, Switzerland, Japan, France and many more places.

Self-described as "the mystical in the physical", Doctor Becket (aka Dr.Becket, Docta Bec or Doc Bec) is a lyrically skilled emcee, visual artist/illustrator, and smooth sample based beat maker hailing from the east coast state of Maryland, USA. As a producer, Bec has developed a hands on approach to all of his music, and has been able to build his own unique sound based on pure skills of the art form. He prides himself on staying true and being original.
Doc Bec first graced the underground Hip-Hop scene in 1997 appearing on the Specs produced "Lyrixcism" single. This was followed by the recording of the critically acclaimed and now highly sought after Dr. Becket & K-Skills "First Class" EP in 1998, which featured the monster track “Galaxy Rays".

Doc Bec then went on to press and released the “Bad Mutha F#%!A” b/w “Creativity" 12-inch in 2000, followed by a full length LP titled “Way Of Life” in 2005. From that time period until the present, there has been a host of independently released limited edition EPs' and guest appearances on records from Jazz Addixx, Sentense, The Good People, and Sputnik Brown among others, as well as a few unreleased projects in the works.

Over the course of his career, Bec has delightfully moved crowds in the United States, Italy, Sweden, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark, Holland, and Switzerland. Currently he resides in Las Vegas, NV and has recently released his latest highly acclaimed project titled "The Other Way" in the summer of 2011.
